K12 High Speed Network - Edzone
K12HSN - Edzone is a free resource for California educators by the state. It provides several Web 2.0 tools that teachers can use in their teaching like blogs, wikis, podcasting and video hosting. Edzone is still fairly new and the K12 HSN team is still developing many of the tools. We see this service as a valuable resource for educators that are ready and willing to start publishing on the web.

Wikis
Wikis are websites that anyone can edit and are as easy to use as a word processor. They are great for group projects, as a resource page, writing projects, collaborative author projects and as a professional development site. The main attraction to using wikis is that more people than just the originator of the page can collaborate and add to the information on the page.
