Instructional Technology Services provides valuable online instructional resources to our contracting schools. In the growing complexity of remembering countless usernames and passwords to gain access to websites, the MY FCOE Portal assists with a single login to gain access to the instructional resources housed within the portal. My FCOE Portal carves the educational resources out of the Internet and delivers them to you in an easy to use digital toolbox. Thanks to a grant from CTAP Region 7, the Portal is free to all county educators.

Curriculum Resources

ITS makes the task of searching for online educational resources so much easier. Our brains are full of education and curriculum websites and we want to share the knowledge with educators throughout Fresno County. The curriculum resources that are gathered inside the Portal make it easier for you to find quality educational websites without the hassle of searching endlessly and not sure of the results you will get.

Moodle

Through the Portal, ITS provides the administration and management for Moodle educators in Fresno County. Moodle is a learning management system that teachers can use to create Web-based classrooms and courses. Moodle promotes student interaction in an online environment with features such as discussion boards, chat, wikis, a messaging system, and the ability to submit assignments online and add content to a classroom web site.

K-12 High Speed Network

California's K-12 High Speed Network provides not only reliable high speed network service, but valuable online resources as well. ITS connects educators to those resources by providing login capabilities straight from the MY FCOE Portal. Create a K-12 HSN account, keep your login information in the Portal and you'll only need to remember your Portal login to use the valuable resources K-12 HSN provides.

Discovery Education Streaming is a digital video-on-demand and online teaching service to help improve students' retention and test scores; it is aligned to California state standards. Featuring more than 5,000 full-length videos segmented into 50,000 content-specific video segments, Discovery Education Streaming allows teachers to seamlessly integrate its content into their curriculum.

Visual Thesaurus

Visual Thesaurus offers stunning visual displays of the English language. Looking up a word creates an interactive visual map with your word in the center of the display, connected to related words and meanings. Click on these words or meanings to explore further.
