The 3rd annual Summer Library Camp was held yesterday at Selma High School. Although it was a lot of work for myself and the committee, I think it went well and was worth the effort. There were some great sessions such as "Let's Host an Author", "Rev Up your Program", "Multicultural Books" and many more.
Author Jeff Savage was a great speaker and I recommend him to any school thinking about an author visit.
I spoke to many of the attendees and they felt it was a great day. They believed they were going back to their school sites armed with ideas, tips, and resources that will help them enhance and improve their libraries.
